SNuBIC PhD Student Yanick Kiechle from the University of Düsseldorf completed a five month research stay at the Max-Planck Institute for Plasma Physics in Garching. There he conducted research on Active Flux methods and computational plasma physics hosted by SNuBIC associated PI Eric Sonnendrücker, who is division head of the Numerical Methods in Plasma Physics division. Throughout Yanick's time at IPP, he had the opportunity to exchange with leading researches in the field of computational plasma physics and further his research network, which he greatly appreciated.
